US Airways and United continue to enhance their marketing partnership with additional code share flights to Asia now available for sale.
Through this new phase of code sharing, US Airways customers now have expanded access to 180 new flight segments, including United’s service to Tokyo-Narita from Los Angeles, New York-JFK, Chicago O’Hare, Seattle and San Francisco, as well as San Francisco-Osaka, Japan flights. Additional code share flights to Hong Kong from United’s Chicago hub are also now available to US Airways customers. Both airlines’ customers now are able to travel on nearly 1,600 flight segments.
Beginning August 21, the US Airways code has also been placed on United flights between San Francisco and the following cities: Boston (connecting traffic only); Baltimore; Denver; Newark; Orlando, Fla.; Miami; Chicago O’Hare; San Diego; Seattle and Salt Lake City, Utah.
United and US Airways have also initiated code-share service on United Express flights operated by SkyWest Airlines between Los Angeles and Colorado Springs; Oakland, Calif.; Phoenix; Sacramento, and San Jose, Calif., as well as United mainline flights from Los Angeles to Newark, and Philadelphia. Code share service is only available to customers originating or completing travel in Los Angeles.
